Enjoy four relaxing days dedicated to creating your own T-shirt quilt at My Sister's Sewing Sanctuary. With comfortable lodging, delicious meals, and expert guidance from Wanda Kringle, you'll make meaningful progress while enjoying the company of fellow quilters in a beautiful retreat setting.

Bring at least 12 T-shirts for a throw-size quilt, along with your sewing machine, iron-on stabilizer, your preferred background or sashing fabrics, and backing or fusible fleece depending on your chosen quilt style. A detailed supply list will be emailed after registration and with your final payment.

There isn't just one way to make a T-shirt quilt! Learn how to create traditional block quilts, framed designs, scrappy layouts, or one- and two-sided rag quilts. Wanda will help you choose the layout that best showcases your memories and works with the shirts you bring.

Your registration includes three nights of lodging and meals. Relax, sew, and let us take care of the meals so you can focus on creating your quilt and enjoying your retreat experience.

The retreat begins Thursday afternoon with check-in and dinner, followed by three full days of sewing, instruction, meals, and friendship. We'll wrap up Sunday morning with breakfast before heading home with new skills, new friends, and a quilt well underway.

❓ Is this retreat suitable for beginners?

Yes! Whether this is your first T-shirt quilt or you've made many quilts before, Wanda will provide guidance throughout the retreat. Basic sewing machine experience is recommended.

🧵 Can I rent a sewing machine?

Absolutely! Sewing machine rentals are available for $50 for the entire retreat. Reserve one when you register, as quantities are limited.

👕 How many T-shirts should I bring?

Bring at least 12 T-shirts to make a throw-size quilt. Larger quilts will require additional shirts. You'll also receive a complete supply list after registering.

💲 What is the payment and cancellation policy?

Once your registration request is reviewed, you'll receive an invoice by email. Your reservation is confirmed after your deposit is received. The remaining balance is due July 23rd, 21 days before the retreat.
